Stanley was a stray who was found by a couple who fell in love with him and decided to keep him, until he tested positive for FIV. Then they didn’t want him anymore and they brought him to a shelter where he was put on the euthanasia list. Stanley is a big, friendly cat. When we rescued him, he had an unusual pigmentation in his right eye. This pigmentation grew larger over the next few years, and eventually was diagnosed as cancer. His eye was removed to prevent the cancer from spreading to other parts of his body. He gets along fine with only one eye. Stanley has a habit of lying with his back legs splayed out behind him..
