Ivy was in a shelter with another cat, Peach, who she was bonded with and who was suspected to be her sister. Ivy had tested positive for FeLV, and while in the shelter she had developed an upper respiratory disease that was worsening. She needed more veterinary treatment than the shelter could provide. We rescued both Ivy and her sister Peach, along with Peach’s kitten, Spaghetti, who we renamed Finley.
Since coming to Mollie’s, Ivy has recovered from her respiratory infection and is learning to get along with the other cat(s) in Mikey’s Place. Our vet discovered she has several loose teeth which could be causing her pain. She is scheduled for dental work in the near future.
